The name of the campaign is “Ackermans Win school fees for a year”.

Campaign Period

** The campaign will run from 27 December 2018 – 30 January 2022 in Ackermans Stores and is applicable to all Ackermans Account Cardholders in South Africa only.

Eligibility

The promotion is only open to Ackermans Account Holders within South Africa.

May Not Eligible

You are not eligible to participate in this competition if: –

a. You are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of Ackermans, its affiliates/divisions/subsidiaries or any other person who supplies goods or services in connection with the competition;

b. You are a spouse, life partner, parent, child or sibling, immediate family member, business partner or associate of the persons specified in 11(a) above.

How To Enter

** By being part of this campaign you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

** Each purchase on your Ackermans Account made at an Ackermans store during the campaign period will earn you an entry.

** Purchases are subject to purchase validation checks.

Prize

** The winners will be selected by random draw on 4 February 2022; this draw will be overseen by an internal auditor.

** A total of 20 winners will each receive school fees up to the value of R10000 towards their child, grandchild or nominated child’s school fees.

** School fees are only supplemented up to R10000, where school fees exceed R10 000 the outstanding fees must be settled by the winner or responsible person.

** In instances where school fees for the year is below R10000, the school fees will be covered in full however the difference will not be paid out.

** The more entries you have, the higher your chances of being selected as a winner.

** Prizes are applicable for all registered school going children from Grade R to Grade 12.

** Winners will be contacted 5 times. If no contact is made, a new winner will be selected.

** School fees will be paid directly to the school.

** School fees will be paid towards either the accountholder’s child or grandchild or any other nominated child.

Winners Announcement

Winners must submit the following documents to Tenacity Financial Services before 28 February 2022, failure to provide this documentation will result in a disqualification :

a. The nomination form (provided to winners)

b. A letter from the school on the school’s letterhead, confirming the child’s name, surname, age, grade and enrollment.

c. An invoice for 12 months school fees from the school with the bank details of the school clearly visible.

d. Certified ID of the parents or grandparents of the child, grandchild or nominated child.

e. Certified birth certificate of the child, grandchild or nominated child.

** Alternative winners will be chosen after the 28th of February 2022 for all documentation not received.

** Prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

General Rules

** Ackermans customer accounts, which are in arrears at the time of the draw, will not qualify for this campaign.

** Ackermans customer accounts, which are in negative standing at the time of the draw, will not qualify for this campaign.

** Customers that qualify give Ackermans and its authorized agents consent to use their names for publicity purposes, unless refused.

** Ackermans reserves the right to vary, suspend, postpone or terminate the promotion and any prizes, or any aspect thereof, for any reasons whatsoever and without notice. In such event, you hereby waive any rights or expectations which you may have against Ackermans and acknowledge that you will not have any recourse or claim of any nature against Ackermans.

By taking this promotion, you consent to

(i) the processing of your personal information by Ackermans and other companies in the Pepkor group, any of their operators, agents and sub-contractors (who may be outside South Africa) on the condition that they will keep such information confidential;

(ii) the collection of your personal information from any other source to supplement the personal information which Ackermans has about you;

(iii) the retention by Ackermans of your personal information for as long as permitted for legal, regulatory, fraud prevention and marketing purposes;

(iv) Ackermans using your personal information to send you information about products, services, and special offers of the various companies in the Pepkor group that may be of interest or value to you.

** You can choose to be excluded from direct marketing by notifying Ackermans in writing or by registering a block on any registry which Ackermans is bound by law to recognize. Ackermans will not charge you a fee to update this request on its systems. Ackermans will give effect to any changes requested by you as soon as reasonably possible.
