SABC1 Made In My Image Competition

SABC1 Mzansi fo sho has officially opened the platform for South Africa’s most exciting viewer engagement competition. SABC1 is calling on our loyal viewers to send in their artistic and most loved photographic imagery for an engaging competition called “Made In My Image” #Inmyimage.

Made In My Image Competition Period

** The viewer competition will open from Wednesday, 1 August 2018, for all legal South African residents between the ages 18 and 40.

Made In My Image Eligibility

** The competition is open only to legal South African residents, over the age of 18 – 40, Males and Females.

** Employees of the SABC (along with its contractors, affiliates and subsidiaries) and their families are not eligible

** For Finalists will be under the supervision of the production house at all times.

** The Made in my image competition provides the opportunity for the aspirant social photographers and ordinary viewer to showcase their exciting images with South Africa.

** Viewers will be allowed to submit three images per week that would qualify for broadcast.

** A panel from SABC1 will select the best entries which will then be broadcast on any Mzansi fo sho platform and most notably during SABC1 channel viewing.

** Selected entries will be credited on screen attached to the imagery.

How To Submit

Go to the official website, click on “click here to submit” button on home page

Enter the following details to submit the contest page.

4. Please provide your social media handle

Note :

Upload your images below. Images should not exceed 15MB. Kindly rename your images using your Social Media Handle,

Eg: @InMyImage_01, @InMyImage_02, @InMyImage_03

5. Upload Image 1

6. Upload Image 2

7. Upload Image 3

8. Tick the checkbox to confirm that you have read the Terms & Conditions

9. Click on Submit button.

Made In My Image Entry Details

** Participants of ‘Made In My Image’ on air competition will be required to send their best images to madeinmyimage AT sabc1.co.za to be considered as a winner.

** Entrants will be required to read and fully understand the terms & conditions of entry on www.facebook.com/mzansifosho and www.twitter.com/Official_SABC1 as well as on

** Pictures that are selected/approved will only be used on television and on social media platforms.

** Pictures that have been selected and approved will be used for approximately one year only.

** There will be no financial compensation for any of the pictures that channel will utilise on air and on social media platforms.

** Once the pictures have been selected, participants will be required to sign waiver forms allowing SABC1

** 1920 x 1920 is the required quality of the pictures the participants

Made In My Image General Conditions

a. Participants hereby grant SABC 1 a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide license to broadcast, publish, store, reproduce, distribute, syndicate, and otherwise use and exhibit the Submission of entry (along with their names, voices, performance and/or likenesses) in all media now known, or that later come into being, for purposes of trade or advertising without further compensation

b. SABC 1 is under no obligation to use any Submission or return the Submissions to participants.

c. Contestants enter the competition at their wont risk. The SABC will not be liable for any injuries that occur during the period of the competition.

d. Judges & Auditors decision is final on all the selected pictures
