Bursaries will be awarded for Built Environment degree qualifications, including the following fields:

• Architecture
• Construction Studies
• Engineering
• Quantity Surveying

To qualify for an Arup Education Trust bursary, applicant’s must satisfy the following criteria:

• Applicant’s must be a South African citizen from a designated group (Black African, Coloured, Indian/Asian, disabled) as per South Africa’s B-BBEE codes
• Must be studying towards a degree in the built environment (engineering, architecture, construction studies, quantity surveying, town planning, etc.)
• Parents/guardians of the applicant must have a combined household net income of less than R15,000 per month
• First year students are welcomed to apply
• Academic excellence is vital
