Old Mutual Vax & Win Competition

The Old Mutual Vax and Win Competition is run by Old Mutual (Pty) Ltd, their staff, directors, affiliated companies and third party service providers.

Competition Period

Competition opens at 08h00 on 1 September 2021 and closes 23h59 on 17 December 2021.

Eligibility Requirements

i. In order to participate in this competition, you confirm that
1. You are 18 (eighteen) years of age or older when entering this competition.

2. You are an Old Mutual customer with a minimum of one Old Mutual product, or are an Old Mutual Rewards member between 1st September 2021 and 17th December 2021.

3. Your vaccination status is verifiable against the official South African government vaccination database.
4. You have received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccination by the closing date of the competition which is 17 December 2021.

ii. You only need to submit one competition entry for the duration of the competition. Old Mutual will discard multiple entries by the same Old Mutual customer.

iii. The organisers, their directors, members, partners, employees, agents, consultants, any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by them or any supplier of goods and services in connection with Old Mutual and their spouses, life partners, parents, children, siblings, business partners or associates are not eligible to participate in this competition.

How to Participate?

Steps :
Step 1 : Old Mutual customers will receive an SMS or email sent to them by Old Mutual which includes a link to the competition.

Step 2 : To enter the competition customers must click on the link and following the competition menu prompts. Customers will be required to supply their ID number and their consent for Old Mutual to verify their vaccination status.

Competition Prizes

1. The prizes for the Old Mutual Vax and Win Competition are one (1) x R100,000 weekly prize, as well as twelve (12) x R50,000 weekly prizes for the duration of the competition period which is 1 September 2021 to 17 December 2021.

2. Customers will have the option to take their prize in cash or in the equivalent value in Old Mutual Rewards points.

Terms & Conditions

** Winners will be selected by a random lucky draw process each week.
** Draws will be take place each week on a Monday from 13th September 2021 to the end of the competition period with the final draw taking place on Monday 20th December 2021.

** Winners will be contacted by an Old Mutual representative via their cellphone number and informed of their prize. Customers will also receive written confirmation from Old Mutual of their prize selection.

** Should the customer not respond to the telephone call, further communication will be made via SMS or email as per the contact details on record.

Should the customer not be successfully contacted during one calendar month from the date of the draw, the customer will forfeit their prize, and a redraw will be initiated.

** Customers will be required to supply proof of their banking details for payment of the cash prize to be made. Banking details will be verified by Old Mutual before the payment is made.

** Old Mutual requires a maximum period of 14 days from the customer supplying proof of banking details to pay out the cash prize.
** The judges’ decision is final. No deliberations may be entered into and no decisions may be taken on review.
