Please Note :

** Due to bank charges, payments made via this online credit card payment facility will not qualify for 2.5% discount.

** Only payments made via EFT, direct bank payments and at official University of Pretoria cashiers (using cash or cards) will qualify for 2.5% discount when settling the student account in full by 30 April.

UP bank account details

** The University of Pretoria is currently not able to accept cash payments as the Student Service Centre (SSC) is closed for walk-in clients.

** The preferred payment method is EFT or direct bank deposits.

** Please allow 5 working days for processing.

** Cashiers will be available on the Sport Campus (LC de Villiers) from 18 January 2017 to accept card payments ONLY.

South African citizens

Note :

** Always quote your student number (EMPLID) when making payments.

** Allow at least five working days for processing by your bank and retain the proof of payment (deposit slip).

** Do not fax your deposit slip to UP, unless specifically requested to do so.

** Faxing the deposit slip to UP will NOT reduce processing time at the University and will NOT allow same day services, especially during registration.

** For the ABSA on-line banking page, click here for help on setting up first time on-line banking. Search with ‘UNI’ as beneficiary and choose ‘students’ option.

** This will reflect UP’s bank account number 214 000 0054 when making a payment and will allow you to use your student number as reference.

International payments

** Can be made using a credit card (provided you have 3D one-time pin security in place with your own bank) on the university website, or by doing a SWIFT transfer from your bank in your own country.

** Please use the correct university bank account for the various international transactions.
