How To Apply For UNISA Exemption Of Study Units

Well here is how you can apply for exemptions of study units for your undergraduate qualifications:

  1. Click here to register online for your new qualification for the 2022 academic year.
  2. Login to myUnisa.
  3. Once you have logged in, click on “myAdmin”, “Student Admin” and “Apply for Exemption”.

Please note that applications for credits and exemptions will close on 11 March 2022.

Unisa will start processing these exemption applications once the official closing date for registration has passed.

The university also allows students from other universities to apply for exemptions if they have registered for a formal qualification at Unisa.

  • Semester modules: 5 January – 12 February 2022
  • Year modules: 5 January – 11 March 2022
