The Tropika Island of Treasure 9 Competition is being run by Clover S.A. Proprietary Limited, Each person entering the Competition (“participants/entrants/you/your”) and/or accepting any prize in terms of this Competition, agrees and accepts that the Competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions (“Rules”) is binding on him or her.

Competition Period

Random Prizes :

** The Competition for Random Prizes commences at 00:01 on 1 August 2022 and will close at 23:59 on 30 November 2022.

** No entries received after 23:59 on 30 November 2022 will be considered.

Audition :

** The Competition for the Audition will open at 00:01 on 1 Aug 2022 and will close at 23:59 on 31 October 2022.

** No audition entries received after the 31st of October at 23:59 will be considered.

Eligibility

Who Can Enter

Random Prizes :

In order to be eligible to enter and be eligible for Random Prizes you must :

be a legal, permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa;

be in possession of a valid identity document with a 13 (thirteen) digit identity number;

be 18 (eighteen) years old or older on the date you enter or, if you are younger than 18 (eighteen) years of age, you must be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent/legal guardian; be a natural person; and not be barred or disqualified by any authority from taking delivery and transfer of the Prize or any portion thereof.

Audition :

In order to be considered for the Auditions and/or to participate in TIOT 9, you must :

** have purchased a bottle of Tropika and show the product on the audition video.

** be a legal, permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa.

** be in possession of a valid identity document with a 13 (thirteen) digit identity number.

** be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older in order.

** have a valid Passport, which shall remain valid for at least 6 (six) months from November 2022 and have at least 2 (two) clear pages.

** not be barred from travelling to the Curacao or the United States of America or from any airline, accommodation or activity in the Curacao.

** be available to travel to and to participate in TIOT 9 in the Curacao from 24 November 2022 until 14 December 2022.

Who Can Not Enter

you are not eligible to enter this Competition if  :

** you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Organisers, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the Organisers;

** you are an immediate family member of any of the persons specified in clause 3.2.1; or

** you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition.

How To Enter

Random Prizes :

** Purchase a promotional pack of Tropika (“the Product”);

** Dial the USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) string:

** *120*8767*UniqueCode# for Tropika fresh products.

** *120*3875*UniqueCode# for Tropika Long-Life products.

** *120*2337*Last4DigitsOfBarcode# for Tropika Pina Colada.

** Fresh products purchased will house the unique code under the product label whereas Long-Life products will house the unique code on the underside of a peel and reveal sticker.

** You may enter the Competition as many times as you like, provided you use a unique Product code inside the pack or under the peel and reveal sticker as indicated in point 4.3 above. (i.e. One entry per Product purchased)

** You must be able to produce a valid till slip as proof of purchasing the Product with the relevant barcode used for the entry if requested by Clover.

** Each entry will be charged at 20c (twenty cents) per 20 (twenty) seconds. Free minutes do not apply. Cost of each entry will however not exceed R1.50 (one rand and fifty cents) in total.

Audition :

** Auditions will only be accepted on the Tropika Website, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Whatsapp

** In the audition video, consumers need to tell or show us how they plan to “out smoooth” or out skill their competitors on the island.

** The audition video should not be longer than 60 seconds.

** Auditions submitted on Social Media will only be considered if the official Tropika page on the respective platform has been tagged and the correct hashtag, #TIOT9, was used being #TIOT9 for purposes of this the Tropika Official Social pages are identified below

** By submitting your audition video on any of our Tropika Official Social pages and selecting to make yourself available to be considered for the Auditions, you consent to your name and contact details being processed by the Organisers for purposes of the TOIT 9 audition process.

** You acknowledge that the Audition videos submitted by you for purposes of the Competition may be used by the Organisers in any manner of form whatsoever including to use such material for publicity purposes and/or to broadcast as part of TIOT 9.
