South African College Application For Admission

SACS is the oldest high school in South Africa, founded in September 1829. It is arguably the most magnificent setting at the foot of Table Mountain and Devils peak.

** Applications for places in 2020 open on 9 January 2025 and close on 15 March 2025.

** Listed below are all the necessary documents required from new applicants.

Kindly note that for your application to be considered, it is essential that the following documentation is enclosed when handing in or emailing your application :

** Completed Application Form (Please read the checklist on pages 2 and 10);

** Admissions Application Form

** Headmasters Report from your current school;

** Birth Certificate with full ID number and photograph of student;

** ID of both parents; and

** Copy of most recent year end report (i.e. December 2018)

** A written affidavit of the parent signed before a Commissioner of Oaths

** If the learner is not a South African citizen, a certified copy of any permit or the like permitting the learner to live in South Africa
