Mzansi, we’re passionate about supporting you and your small business! The Shoprite Hustle Competition is focused on boosting small businesses in South Africa.
After a careful selection process, 20 small business owners will walk away with an extra R50 000 in cash, a Dell laptop, and a Startup Circles business mentorship programme to the value of R30 000 to help grow their business.

Entry Criteria
To qualify for entry and stand a chance to win, you must meet the following criteria
You must be…
** 18 years or older
** A citizen or permanent resident of South Africa
Your business must be…
** In operation for at least 6 months
You must submit the following with your entry:
** A certified copy of your South African identity document or valid passport
** Proof of your bank account details that is no older than 3 months
** 3 or more high-quality photos of you and your business
Please note that any entries that do not meet all criteria will be disqualified.
How It Works?
Our Hustle Competition is aimed at giving a boost to the businesses that need it most.
Entry Process :
We’ll ask you a few questions about yourself and your business. You will also be asked to upload official documents verifying your business.

Entries close on 19 September 2022. Winners will be announced from 27 September to 31 October 2022.

FAQs
1. How will I know If I am a winner?
Each winner will be contacted telephonically on the contact number provided in their entry to inform and congratulate them, starting from 27 September 2022
The Promoter (or their agent) will endeavor to contact a prize winner twice in the 72 (Seventy-Two) hour period via telephone and email after their name has been announced
2. When will the winners be made public?
Winners will be selected and announced starting from 27 September 2022 on the Shoprite website, select print publications and select Shoprite social media pages
3. How are winners selected?
The 20 winners will be selected by a panel of judges
4. How will I know that my entry has been received?
Once you have submitted all the Entry Criteria you will recieve a pop up message on screen to confirm that your entry has been received
5. What information must I uploaded with my entry?
You must upload a: certified copy of ID or passport, a bank letter confirming your bank account details, 3 photographs (at least 1 photograph must be of yourself)
6. Can I exchange the online course and media exposure prize for cash?
Unfortunately, the media exposure and course prizes are not exchangeable for cash and are not transferable
