Mining Indaba Investment Battlefield Competition
The Battlefield is returningĀ :
** Identifying the best emerging mining companies for investors and supporting the development of new projects is a critical part of Mining Indaba.

** In 2022 the Investment Battlefield comes back, bigger and better, with 24 junior mining companies pitching over the three days of Mining Indaba.
Structure of the Investment Battlefield
** 24 companies pitching their projects for 5 minutes each with 10 minutes of live feedback from the judges
** Commodity focused categories: precious metals, bulk and base metals, battery minerals & energy minerals with 3 companies pitching in each
** Sections for developers and explorers to ensure competing projects are balanced
** The final winner and runner-up will be chosen on the main stage on the Wednesday of Mining Indaba

How to Enter
** To qualify, companies taking part in the Investment Battlefield must be a junior mining company.
The criteria is as followsĀ :
** A mining company with a project or operations in Africa
** Have a market cap below $50 million
To enter there are two optionsĀ :
Option 1Ā :
** Sign up as a sponsor or exhibitor for the Junior Mining Showcase and get your application in now. 12 slots are available for companies who are exhibitors or sponsors. Taking this option means you have a higher chance of qualifying.
Option 2Ā :
** Apply in the general application pool, for which there are also 12 slots available. In this pool you will be up against 100s of other companies. The Mining Indaba team will use their Investor Relations teamās expertise to select the best companies for each of these application stages based on the needs of the investors attending the event.
