Terms And Conditions :

1. The competition is conducted by Primedia Lifestyle (Pty) Limited; registration number: 2000/025493/07) on behalf of (K2012150042 South Africa Pty Ltd) (“the Promoter”).

2. Entries open at 8:00 on 20 January 2022 and close at midnight on 5th March 2022.

3. Entrants need to be between the ages of 18 and 34 and will need to present their valid ID documents should they reach the Finals.

4. Only one entry per person is permitted – should you wish to change a previous entry with an updated version, kindly make a request in writing to Homaira on gateway AT primelife.co.za.

5. No director, member, partner, employee, agent, consultant, promoter, or anybody directly involved in this competition and any spouse, life partner, immediate family member, business partner or associate of such person is allowed to participate.

6. The judges’ decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

7. The Top 20 will be notified via e-mail or telephone no later than Friday 10th March.

8. You must use your personal social media accounts to enter (if applicable) and must not object to being tagged in competition posts leading up the Finals.

9. The 6 Finalists will be required to participate in two day photo shoot. The images from this photo shoot will be used for Gateway advertising purposes on multiple platforms. Should you participate in the Finals, you further acknowledge that the Promoter will own all rights to any images and video content recorded. Participation in the Finals is voluntary and no additional compensation (other than specified prizes) will be awarded. The publication of said photos or video content confers no rights of ownership or royalties whatsoever by the semi-finalists.

10. Votes through likes on Facebook photos will be randomly checked for authenticity. Should any discrepancies, such as but not limited to fake profiles liking photos be found, an investigation will be launched and the entrant may be disqualified.

11. The winners of the Gateway Brand Ambassador Search will each walk away with the following prizes each:

** R10 000 in Gateway Gift Cards upon winning the competition.

** Monthly R1 000 Gateway Gift Cards, valued at R10 000 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Monthly R250 meal vouchers from John Dory’s, valued at R2 500 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Monthly R250 meal vouchers from RJ’s, valued of R2 500 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Monthly R500 meal vouchers from Beluga, valued at R2 500 (April 2022, June2022, August 2022, October 2022 & December 2022).

** Monthly R500 meal vouchers from Hussar Grill, valued at R2 500 (May 2022, July 2022, September 2022, November 2022, and January 2018).

** Monthly R180 Cine-Prestige movie experience, valued at R1 800 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Monthly Chateau Gateaux voucher for a 24cm cake, frappe date for 2, coffee date for 2 –valued at R5 900 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Monthly manicure and pedicure from Nail It, valued at R1 000 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Nail care hamper, valued at R1 000 from Nail It.

** Hair care hamper valued at R2 000 from Gerald Wells.

** Monthly hair care products valued at R2 500 from Gerald Wells for 2022.

** Monthly hair styling valued at R5 000 (April 2022 – January 2018) from Gerald Wells.

** Female ambassador will receive a Kryolan product hamper, valued at R5500.

** Female ambassador will receive a 4 hour Masterclass with Aldytha da Silva, valued at R1700.

** Female ambassador will receive make-up applications for all Gateway events attended in 2022 (April 2022 – December 2022).

** Monthly car wash from Auto Spa Express, valued at R1 000 (April 2022 – January 2018).

** Vodacom Smart Platinum Smart Phones, valued at over R11 500.

** Monthly 5 gigs of Vodacom data, valued at over R9 500.

** One night stay at Tsogo Sun Garden Court Umhlanga Hotel for two adults sharing (standard queen room with bed and breakfast only). T’s & C’s are available on request.

12. The Finalists who do not win the competition will each receive a gift bag and a R3 000 Gateway Gift Card. The 2 Female Finalists (who do not win) will also receive a Kryolan product hamper to the value of R2500 each.

13. The prize(s) are (is) not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash unless the Promoter cannot provide the prize(s) for whatever reason, in which case the prize(s) offered, at the discretion of the Promoter, will be of equal monetary value to the initial prize(s). The winner(s) agree to accept the prize(s) as is, at their own risk.

14. In the event of the Promoter not being able to contact the winner(s) the Promoter reserves the right to choose [an]other winner(s).

15. No store owners or store managers at Gateway Theatre of Shopping may enter the competition.

16. This competition is only open to legal residents of the Republic of South Africa.

17. By entering the competition, you agree to receive communication from Gateway Theatre of Shopping with regard to the competition.

Entry Procedure :

1. Record a 15-30 second video that tells us why you want to be a Gateway Brand Ambassador

2. Submit your video through one (only one) of the following channels :

** Upload to Instagram – Your video can be a maximum of 30 seconds long.

** Upload to Twitter – make sure you tag @GatewayUmhlanga and use the hash tag #GatewayAmbassador OR

** Upload to Facebook – Tag Gateway Theatre of Shopping VIP and use the hash tag #GatewayAmbassador OR

** Via Email – Send your video (no larger than 9MB) to brandambassador AT gatewayworld.co.za

** Old school – drop off a clearly labeled envelope containing a DVD or USB stick at our Information Desk during trading hours – make sure you sign in your entry with the info desk team. Please note that DVDs and USB’s will not be returned.
