** Entries for the Competition will open at 6h00 on Tuesday, 27 June 2022 and will close at 23h59 on Friday, 30 June 2022 (Competition Period).
Introduction :
** The Expresso Nu Metro Despicable Me 3 Xtreme Competition (Competition) will be run by Nu Metro Cinemas (Nu Metro) in association with Cardova Trading (Pty) Ltd t/a Expresso.
** Each person entering the Competition (entrants/you/your) and/or accepting a Prize in terms of this Competition agrees and accepts that the Competition rules as set out in these terms and conditions are binding on him/her.
Competition Period :
** Entries for the Competition will open at 6h00 on Tuesday, 27 June 2022 and will close at 23h59 on Friday, 30 June 2022 (Competition Period).
Who can enter :
In order to be eligible to enter the Competition :
** you must be a legal, permanent resident of the Republic of South Africa;
** you must be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older; and
** you must be a natural person.
Notwithstanding clause 3.1, you are not eligible to enter this Competition if :
** you are a director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the organisers of the Competition, or any other person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by the organisers;
** you are an immediate family member of any of the persons specified in clause 3.2.1; or
** you are a supplier of goods or services in connection with the Competition.
How to Enter :
SMS the keyword “DESPICABLE” followed by your name, surname and 1 (one) of the following venues :
** “Cape Town” – if you wish to redeem the prize at Canal Walk, Cape Town;
** “Pretoria” – if you wish to redeem the prize at Menlyn Park, Pretoria;
** “Johannesburg” – if you wish to redeem the prize at Clearwater or The Glen, Johannesburg; or
** “Durban” if you wish to redeem the prize at Ballito Junction, Durban, to 40675 within the Competition Period.
** Once you meet the requirements set out in clause 3 above and this clause 4, you will automatically be entered into the prize draw.
** You may enter the Competition as many times as you like to increase your chances of winning.
** SMS’ will be charged at R 1.00 (one rand) per SMS entry. Free or bundled SMS’ do not apply.
How the winners are determined :
** We will randomly draw 1 (one) winner (Winner) each from Cape Town entries, Pretoria entries and Durban entries respectively and 2 (two) Winners from Johannesburg entries by means of an automated system within 12 (twelve) hours from the closing of the Competition.
** We will contact the Winners within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the prize draw on the cell phone numbers (via SMS or telephone call) from which the entries were sent.
** If a Winner is not contactable within 24 (twenty-four) hours from the prize draw, and after we have made at least 2 (two) attempts to contact the Winner, that Winner will forfeit the prize and we shall have the right to select a different Winner on the same conditions except that we will only be required to make 1 (one) attempt to contact each further Winner drawn.
** Each Winner will receive a confirmation SMS once their attendance has been confirmed from the initial contact.
** Each Winner will be required to provide a copy of his/her Identification Document as required in terms of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
The Prize :
** Each Winner will receive 2 (two) Nu Metro movie tickets to view a screening of Despicable Me 3 in Xtreme at the Nu Metro cinemas indicated by the Winner on his/her entry between 1 July 2022 and 6 July 2022 (Prize/Tickets).
** The Tickets must be redeemed at Winner’s respective location between the dates indicated in clause 6.1, failing which it will be forfeited and the Winner shall have no claim against us. The use of the Tickets will be subject to availability for the specific screening the Winner wishes to attend.
** Winners must collect the Tickets from the ticket office at the relevant venues prior to the screening he/she wishes to attend between 1 and 6 July 2022, but before the last available screening on 6 July 2022, failing which the Tickets will expire. Winners will be required to show positive identification on collection of the Tickets.
** The Prize, or any part thereof, may not be exchanged for cash any other item. Prizes are not transferable. We reserve the right to substitute the Prize, or part thereof, with any other prize of a similar commercial value.
** Prizes are provided by Nu Metro and Cardova shall not be liable for any claims in connection with the Competition.
