Competition Period
** BoxOffice by DStv has collaborated with Telkom to run a promotional competition on its transactional-video-on-demand service from 1 December 2022 to 31 December 2022. (the competition period).
** The competition ends at midnight (00h00) on 31 December 2022.
Eligibility
Who Can Enter
** The competition runs only on BoxOffice in South Africa and is open to customers residing in SA only.
Who Can Not Enter
** DStv Customers (either the account holder or people authorized to make purchases on this account) enter the competition by renting BoxOffice movies on their SD PVR, HD PVR or DStv Explora within the competition period.
** Online rentals of BoxOffice movies do not qualify for this competition.
How To Enter
** Rent any two BoxOffice movies in a week between 1 December 2022 and 31 December 2022.
** The qualifying mechanic to be entered into the draw is for Customers to rent any two (2) BoxOffice movies on the SD / HD PVR or Explora PVR (at any price) per week during the competition period to get their first entry into the competition.
Prize Breakdown
Week 1 :
** DStv Explora PVR + DStv Wi-Fi connector + LTE router with monthly 20GB + 20GB data recurring over 6 months.
Week 2 :
** DStv Explora PVR + DStv Wi-Fi connector +LTE router with monthly 20GB + 20GB data recurring over 6 months.
Week 3 :
** DStv Explora PVR + DStv Wi-Fi connector +LTE router with monthly 20GB + 20GB data recurring over 6 months.
Grand Prize (Week 4) :
** DStv Explora PVR + DStv Wi-Fi connector + LTE router with monthly 100GB + 100GB recurring over 6 months + 65” Smart TV.
Prize Conditions
** There will be weekly giveaways as well as a grand prize at the end of the competition period
** All customers who rent two movies or more in a week will be entered into the weekly draw as well as into the draw for the grand prize at the end of the competition period.
** Winners from the weekly draw will not be entered into the draw for the grand prize
** The first “on the house” movie offered to new BoxOffice customers counts towards competition entries. Movie rentals using any other free credits allocated to a BoxOffice account will also count towards competition entries.
** There is no limit to the number of entries per customer and only successful rentals during the competition period qualify for entries into the competition.
** The draw will take into account all qualifying entries and the winners will be selected with our appointed auditors present.
** Winners will be randomly selected from the qualifying entrants and results will be audited in-line with regulations that govern such competitions.
** The prize will be awarded to the primary account holder, including delivery to a specified address within the Republic of South Africa.
** Proof of identification, and residential address will be required in order to claim your prize
Winners Announcement Date
Winners will be announced weekly.
a. Week 1 Winner will be announced on Monday 10th December 2022
b. Week 2 Winner will be announced on Monday 17th December 2022
c. Week 3 Winner will be announced on Monday 24th December 2022
d. Week 4 Grand Prize Winner will be announced on Monday 7th January 2023
