Upload Your Claim
To Upload Your Claim First you have to Register for a Discovery Account
Who Can Register :
Individuals, Financial Advisers, Healthcare Professionals and Employers can register.
Go to the Official web page. Click Register link available on the right top of the home page
Following The Steps To Register :
1. Enter your details to receive a registration PIN
Step 1 : Select Identification type – ID Number Or Passport Number
Step 2 : Enter your details as per your selection
Step 3 : Select Send via – SMS Or Email Notification
Step 4 : Enter Your Cellphone Number (If Select SMS Notification) Or Enter Your mail address (If Select Email Notification )
Step 5 : Click Send button
2. Enter your PIN Number & Click the Continue Button
Please log in below to access the Submit a claim page :
Step – 1 : Enter Username
Step – 2 : Enter Password
Step – 3 : Click Log In Button
Forgot username / password?
If you forgot your Username / Password kindly follow the below steps to recover it.
Step 1 : Select what you would like us to send you User Name Or Password
Step 2 : Select Identification type ID Number Or Passport Number
Step 3 : Enter ID Number
Step 4 : Select Send via – SMS Or Email Notification
Step 5 : Enter Your Cellphone Number
Step 6 : Click Send button
Email Your Claims
Scan and email your claims to claims [AT] discovery.co.za
** Use your smartphone camera. Download the Discovery app from the App Store or Google Play, log in and take a photo of the claim.
** If the claim has a QR code, simply scan the QR code from within the Discovery app.
** Tap on the Scan QR code on claim button, scan the QR code on your claim and follow the prompts.

To View & Track your Claims you have to Login by providing your Username & Password
What To Remember
1. Submit claims within four months
2. Older claims will be considered expired and will not be paid.
3. Check the claim to make sure the following details are correct and clear :
** your name and membership number
** name and practice number of the healthcare provider
** date on which service was provided
** relevant consultation, procedure codes or Nappi codes and diagnostic (ICD-10) codes
** total amount charged for the service
4. Include a receipt if you paid for the claim
5. Send a detailed claim and not just a receipt
6. If the healthcare provider sends the claim to us electronically, you don’t need to send us a copy.
Payment Of Claims
** To update your debit order or your claims payments banking details, please log in.
** You will receive an OTP (one-time PIN) that will be sent to the registered cellphone number or email address.
** This pin will verify and confirm the change being actioned through the website.
** Claims will be paid directly to the healthcare professional when they bill the Discovery Health Rate
** Cash claims and claims payable to members are paid weekly.
