Dettol Back to School Competition
Dettol Back to School Competition 2022 is conducted by Reckitt Benckiser Pharmaceuticals (Pty) Ltd.
Eligibility
The Competition is open for entry to all citizens and legal residents of South Africa (provided that the participant is also a resident in South Africa at the time of winning and receiving any prize herein), who at the time of entering the Competition are over the age of 18 (eighteen) years, and are in possession of a valid South African Identity Document (in the case of residents, a valid passport, and necessary residency permission).
Promotional Period
The Competition duration will be from 1 January 2022 at 00:01 and will end on Sunday 28 February 2022 at 00:00. No entries received after the Closing Date will be considered.
How to Participate?
** Participants must purchase at least 1 (one) Dettol Product, excluding Dettol Antiseptic Liquid [Dettol bar soap, liquid handwash, hand sanitiser, disinfectant liquid, surface liquid and triggers] from a participating Pick n Pay store and then dial *120*72221*3# and follow the prompts to enter.
** Participants will be requested to enter the last 4 digits of the barcode of the purchased Dettol product, their full name and then be required to complete 2 questions.
** Entry confirmation will be sent to the entrant via USSD after their entry has been successful. Each USSD will be charged at the standard rate of R0.20c per 20 seconds. Errors will be billed.
Winner Selection & Verification
** Finalists will be randomly drawn within 15 (fifteen) working days after the end of the Competition, from all valid and correct entries received during the Promotional Period.
** Possible prize winners will be contacted by the Promoters via the telephone on the telephone number used to enter the Competition and will be required to participate in an audit verification process, together with a copy of their Identity Document, Proof of Residence and providing a Valid Till Slip.
** Once the audit verification has been completed, the possible winners will be declared as winners and will be contacted by the Promoters to facilitate delivery/redemption of their prize to their address of choice within South Africa, within 4 (four) weeks or 20 (twenty) working days from the end of the Promotional Period.
Prizes
** Pick n Pay win a share of R250 000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rands) worth of Pick n Pay Vouchers. Each voucher prize will be to the maximum value of R25 000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rands) each, including VAT.
** Spar win a share of R250 000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rands) worth of Spar Vouchers. Each voucher prize will be to the maximum value of R25 000 (Twenty Five Thousand Rands) each, including VAT.
** Shoprite/ Checkers win a share of R250 000 (Two Hundred and Fifty Thousand Rands) worth of cash to put towards your child/ children’s School Bursaries. Each cash prize will be to the maximum value of R5 000 (Five Thousand Rand) each, including VAT.
Winners will receive a unique pin number via SMS within 24 hours once they are confirmed as a winner.
