Terms and Conditions :

** The name of the Promotion is “Daily Giveaway”.

** The Promotion commences 1 March 2022 and ends 31 December 2022 in South Africa.

** The Promotion commences 1 April 2022 and ends 31 December 2022 in Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi, and Zambia.

Entrants :

** Any person participating in this promotion (“Promotion”) does so on acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”).

** Defy Appliances (Pty) Ltd (“Defy”), and its subsidiaries are collectively referred to as the “Promoters” in respect of the Promotion for purposes of these Terms and Conditions.

** The Promotion will run until 31 December 2022 after which date the Promotion will automatically lapse and no further entries will be accepted.

** This Promotion is open to all persons of the age 18 years or older and resident of South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland, Malawi, and Zambia at the time of entry, except the employees and their immediate families of the Promoters, Promoters’ advertising and promotion agencies, associated companies, and outlet owners and staff.

** Winners will need to produce their ID book to validate that they are over the age of 18.

** Winners will also need to have valid bank accounts.

Reward :

** The Reward is one cash prize daily during the promotional period.

The value of the Reward will be as follows:

South Africa: R10,000 (Rands)

Namibia: N$10,000 (Namibian Dollars)

Botswana: P8,000 (Pula)

Lesotho: M10,000 (Maloti)

Swaziland: E10,000 (Emalangeni)

Malawi: MK500, 00 (Malawian Kwacha)

Zambia: ZK7200 (Zambian Kwacha)

** From 1 March 2022 – 31 March 2022 there will be one draw and only one winner chosen daily from South Africa.

** From 1 April 2022 – 31 December 2022 there will be one draw and only one winner chosen daily from all 7 participating countries.

** Rewards are non-exchangeable and non-transferable.

** Rewards cannot be exchanged for an alternative Reward and no negotiations will be entered into.

** Winners shall be notified via telephone and/or email. Participants must therefore ensure that the Promoters have their correct, updated details.

** The Reward will be paid directly into the winner’s bank account within 7 working days of them being contacted and their entry validated.

** The Promoters reserve the right to replace the offer with one of equal or greater value.

** In order to enter the Promotion, consumers must purchase any Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer from a participating store during the promotional period.

** The customer must then dial *120*11221#, and follow the prompts to enter.

** The cost of the USSD line is R0.60 per 60 seconds. Incorrect and/or incomplete entries will be billed.

** No entries by post or any other form will be accepted.

** Only one entry per Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer purchase is allowed.

** Till slips must be retained for proof of purchase.

** Only one entry per CLI is permitted.

** If participants have bought more than one Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer during the competition period, and wish to enter more than once, they may phone Cera-Lee on (031) 492 3290 to get their phone number unlocked for further entries. This will only be done upon proof of more than one legitimate purchase.

** The consumer’s entry will be withdrawn if any goods purchased in connection with the Promotion are returned by the consumer before the competition entry data file is extracted for purposes of doing the draw.

** Winners will be drawn from all valid entries received each day.

** Winners will be contacted on the first working day following the draw.

** Winners will need to provide their proof of purchase, correct banking details, and a copy of their ID in order to redeem the cash prize.

SADC Entries :

Entrants residing in the following African countries are also eligible to enter this promotion :

** In order to enter the Promotion from one of the above listed countries, consumers must purchase any Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer from a participating store during the promotional period (1 April 2022 – 31 December 2022).

Participants must then :

** Add +27 81 005 7047 as a Whatsapp contact on their mobile device.

** Take a clear picture of their purchased Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer till slip as proof of purchase.

** Send the picture of the till slip to the above Whatsapp contact via Whatsapp along with their full name.

** Normal data charges apply.

** No entries by post or any other form will be accepted.

** Only one entry per Defy Side-by-Side Fridge/Freezer purchase is allowed.
