Bryan Habana (born 12 June 1983) is a former South African rugby union player who played as a wing for Toulon and also for the South African national team.
His parents, who were Manchester United lovers named him after Manchester United player’s Bryan Robson and Gary Bailey.
Habana was educated at King Edward VII School and Rand Afrikaans University (now known as the University of Johannesburg).

Bryan was voted the country’s most promising player that year. He has featured in the South African team, Stormers, Blue Bulls, Western Province, and Toulon.
His career has really been a successful one as he has more tries than any other springbok in history and the second most international try-scorer of all time with a total of 67 tries behind only Daisuke Ohata.

Bryan Habana Retirement
Former South Africa and Toulon winger Bryan Habana has announced his retirement from rugby.
Habana announced his retirement on Instagram on Tuesday and said: “The inevitable moment has come knocking on my door and I have welcomed it in for a drink.
“So at the end of this season, it’s time to say goodbye and thank you to the game I so dearly love.

The 34-year old‚ who scored 335 points in 124 Tests for the Springboks after he made his debut in 2004‚ was part of the side that defeated England in the 2007 World Cup final.
The former Bulls and Stormers wing had been with Toulon since 2013‚ but has struggled with injuries problems that frustrated his time with the Top 14 side.
