Who Can Apply?

** Students from Grades 1–12 are eligible to apply for BRICS Math Online Mathematics Competition 2022.

** Online Mathematics competition for school students from Brazil, Russia, India, China, South Africa, Indonesia and Vietnam.

How to Participate?

Only teachers or parents can register their students or children for the competition. Just follow the below steps to register for BRICS Math Online Mathematics Competition 2022.

Steps :

Step 1 : Teachers go to the website www.bricsmath.com and register their students online.

 

Step 2 : Students get their individual logins and passwords and can solve the tasks on any device connected to the Internet.

Step 3 : Those students who have dragonlearn.co.za profiles can use their logins and passwords for the competition.

Competition Rounds

Preparatory Round : April 22–May 22, 2022

The preparatory round consists of the best tasks of previous years’ competitions and provides an opportunity to practice. The results of the preparatory round will be available on May 22.

Trial Round : July 21–Sep 13, 2022

** The trial round gives students an opportunity to practice before the main round.

** The results of the trial round do not affect the main round.

Main Round : Sep 14–Oct 30, 2022

** In the main round, students have 60 minutes to complete all the tasks. It is not mandatory to complete the preparatory round or the trial round to participate in the main round.

** Once the student logouts, the test is automatically submitted.

Why Participate?

The goal of the competition is to develop creativity amongst children and to motivate them towards learning. The tasks are given in the form of a game which makes the learning process more interesting and effective.

The BRICSMATH competition develops logical reasoning skills of students. There is no syllabus for the competition and the students do not need to study for the competition.

Rules

** To take part in the competition students need to have access to a computer or tablet with a modern browser and Internet connection

** The fun and interactive tasks of the competition are designed in a child-friendly game form.

** The tasks get students to think outside the box but do not require any prior knowledge of Mathematics syllabus or any preparation.

** The competition tasks will be available for all classes in Portuguese, Russian, English, Hindi, Chinese, Indonesian and Vietnamese languages.

Awards

** Certificates will be available in the personal profiles after the participants have finished the preparatory round.

** To access your certificate and view the results, log in to your personal profile on www.bricsmath.com

** Both the students and the teachers can download the certificates.

Results

Upon the completion of the BRICSMATH.COM+, after May 22, all the students will get certificates that will be available in their personal accounts on bricsmath.com.

The online format allows every child to take part regardless of their level of knowledge, social and geographical background. For that reason, we would recommend giving every student the opportunity to participate
