1Life SMS Question Promotion
The 1Life SMS Question Promotion is running from 15 November 2018 – 28 February 2022 where active Policyholders that have the premiums in respect of their policies paid up to date can stand the chance to win their share of R100,000 if they pay their premium and SMS the answer to the question sent out in the SMS message to them.

The promotor of the competition is 1Life Insurance (Registration number: 2005/027193/06), an authorised financial services provider (FSP:24769), whose registered office is at Auto & General Park, 1 Telesure Lane, Riverglen, Dainfern, 2191.
Competition Duration
** The competition commences on 15 November 2018 and ends on 28 February 2022, both days inclusive.
** After this date no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
Eligibility
Who May Enter
** The competition is open to active 1Life Policy holders that have paid all their premiums due between 15 November 2018 and 28 February 2022 , who are permanent residents and citizens of South Africa over the age of 18 years in possession of a valid South African Identity Document and who have replied back at least once to the SMS competition.
Who May Not Enter
The competition is not open to
** directors, members, partners, agents, employees or consultants of 1Life and/ or any of their associated or affiliated companies and/ or agencies or any supplier of goods or services in connection with a competition; and
** the spouse, life partner, business partner or associate, or the natural or adopted parent, child or sibling, of any person specified in the above.
** You may not participate in or be eligible to win a competition if you have won a competition promoted by 1Life within the past three months. You will be eligible to participate in a competition promoted by 1Life after the expiry of three months after the date on which you won the last competition.
How To Enter
** To be entered into the competition, on receipt of the SMS, ensure your premium is paid and reply with your response to the question.
** You are only required to SMS your response once to the question to be entered.
** All premiums over the competition period must be paid in order for you to be eligible for the prize.
Prizes
** Win your share of R100,000.
** This will be in the form of 10 x R 10 000 cash prizes awarded at the end of February.
** The prizes will be done by random draw of all qualified entries (qualified entries are clients who’s premiums are paid up to date and who have SMSed an answer to the SMS question received)
Prize Requirements
** Any costs or expenses which you may incur other than in respect of those items specifically included in a prize are for your own account.
** 1Life will not be responsible for any costs or expenses which you, or your partner (if applicable), incur during and for purposes of your entry into the competition and your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
** You must possess whatever documents and permissions that may be required in order to accept and use a prize, which documents and permissions is your responsibility to obtain at your own cost, and which documents and permissions must remain valid in such minimum form and for such minimum period after the prize date as may be required by the relevant authorities.
** 1Life may require you to provide us with such additional information and documentation as we may reasonably require in order to process, confirm and facilitate your acceptance and/or use of a prize.
** If you refuse to provide us with the requested information or documentation, you will forfeit the prize.
Delivery/ Collection Of Prize
** 1Life will contact the winner to arrange the collection/ delivery of the prize.
** In the event that you win a prize provided by a third party supplier, the supplier will contact you to arrange the collection thereof.
** In this regard, you must collect the prize at the time and date arranged with the supplier of the prize. All correspondence regarding the prize must be directed at the supplier of the prize. 1Life will not be responsible for any further correspondence, harm, damage, loss or claim relating to the provision of any element of the prize.
How Will Winners Be Notified
** The winners will be notified by means of the contact details provided to 1Life.
** The winner will be notified by email and/or DM on Twitter/Facebook and/or a telephone call or letter within 30 days of the closing date of the competition.
