Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the University of Johannesburg has moved its registration, online and off-campus.

UJ Registration Dates 2021

  • New/Returning Masters coursework, Honours and Postgraduate Diploma students – 18 January 2021 until 12 February 2021 (online and off campus)
  • First year undergraduate students –  23 February 2021 until 5 March 2021 (online and off campus)
    • Only First year students will need to go onto the UJ campus to collect their student cards, when doing so you will need to present your printed proof of registration and an ID or driver’s license.

Students must note that registrations towards postgraduate qualifications is extremely competitive and takes place on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Thus, it is advised that students register as early as possible because the university cannot guarantee your place if you have not registered on or before the closing date of registration.

If you are a Senior student under the age of 18 on the 18 January 2021 or a First year student under the age of 18 on 23 February 2021, you and your parent/guardian will be required to sign an under age agreement form and submit this form to your relevant faculty before you are able to register.
