NaTIS Schedule For Opening Slots
New schedule for opening slots for Learner’s Licence Tests and Driving Licence Tests: The opening of Learner’s Licence (LL) and Driving Licence (DL) Test slots will change from 8 March 2021.
The following will apply:
** The City of Tshwane will open their LL and DL test slots every Monday
** The City of Johannesburg will open their LL and DL test slots every Tuesday
** The City of Ekurhuleni will open their LL and DL test every Wednesday
** Please note that Merafong, Mogale City and Sedibeng DLTCs will open Learner’s Licence Test Slots and Driving Licence Test Slots daily
** Slots opened every day will be released between 09h00 and 18h00
NaTIS Day Wise Schedule
On a Monday
All 38 DLTCs will open slots for:
** Renewal of Driving Licence Cards and
** PrDP Applications
The City of Tshwane will open slots for:
** Learner’s Licence Tests
** Driving Licence Tests
On a Tuesday
The City of Johannesburg will open slots for:
** Learner’s Licence Tests
** Driving Licence Tests
On a Wednesday
The City of Ekurhuleni will open slots for:
Learner’s Licence Tests
Driving Licence Tests
Note:
** Please note that Merafong, Mogale City and Sedibeng DLTCs will open Learner’s Licence Test Slots and Driving Licence Test Slots daily
** Any person 60 years and older can go to any DLTC to renew their Driving Licence or apply for a PrDP
On a Thursday
The system in the background will have slots available for PRIORITY renewal of Driving Licence Cards and PrDP Applications.
What is a Priority slot?
A priority slot is for a person whose Driving Licence or PrDP has already expired.
How will the system know that I am a priority?
When you enter your Identity number, the system checks if your Driving Licence or PrDP has already expired, if so, then you will see a priority slot (if such a slot is available)
If my Driving Licence or PrDP has expired and there are no priority slots available, what then?
The system will then show you slots that all other applicants will see, whose Driving Licence or PrDP has not yet expired.
On a Friday
** Please note that Merafong, Mogale City and Sedibeng DLTCs will open Learner’s Licence Test Slots and Driving Licence Test Slots daily
** If you managed to make a booking for Driving Licence or Learner’s Licence Test then you must confirm and pay for your booking within 3 days
** Failure to pay for the booking within 3 days will result in automatic cancellation of the booking and the slot will be available to the next applicant.
** Slots will be released to the public between 09h00 and 18h00 daily
Important Information Regarding OTP
Please note: The booking system has been changed.
When booking for the following you will no longer be required to enter an OTP:
** Booking for a Learner’s Licence
** Booking for a Driving Licence Test
** Booking for the renewal of a Driving Licence Card and
** Applying for a PrDP
When you make your booking for the above services please note the following:
** You will receive a summary of the booking details.
** If you agree and the details are correct click “Next”
** Once you have clicked “next” you will receive the booking confirmation page.
** You can either click “Finish” or you can download your booking confirmation from your email account.
** If you wish to check your booking, please go to “My Booking”
** Please note! If the slot you tried to book is no longer available, then you will get an error message which will state “The selected slot is no longer available, please select another slot”
Important Information:
A One Time Pin (OTP) is still required for the following services:
** To view “My Bookings”
** To view motor vehicle renewals
