Health and safety measures have been taken care of for learners wanting to fetch their results from their schools. However, Matrics are advised to not go too early in the morning as other school learners will still be outside.
A special line will be there for learners and assigned individuals will be available to assist.
Matrics can also receive their results through the Department of Basic Education website, they can SMS their exam number to 45856 or register using the USSD code *120*45856#.,
The Matric Class of 2019 achieved a pass rate of 81,3% and this is expected to have dropped this year due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
Many matrics are excited to receive these results while others remain nervous for fear of failure.
Cassey Chambers from the South African Depression and Anxiety Group (SADAG) spoke to eNCA saying that parents should monitor these matrics and offer their support where they can.
