Eligibility
The promotional competition is open to all South African residents in possession of a valid identity document.
Competition Period
This promotional competition is open from 6 October 2022 and ends at 12am (midnight) on 6 December 2022. Any entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
How to Participate?
** To enter, participants need to dial *120*1331*1# and provide the details required. USSD entry costs 20c for 20 seconds.
** No product purchase is needed to participate.
** Consumers can enter more than once but only win the prize once.
** Participants must enter their correct details and more recent contact details. If a Winner has given incorrect contact details, the Promoter reserves the right to select another Winner in terms of the rules.
** The winner will be contacted for 24 hours, if no contact can be made with the winner, it will be forfeited, and another winner will be selected.
** Any Prize not taken up for any reason within two months of notification will be forfeited.
Prize Details
Instant airtime :
Winners can win a share of R150 000 in airtime; up to a maximum value of R3.00 throughout the duration of the campaign (6 October 2022 – 6 December 2022). They will win this airtime on sharing their details with LUX.
Checkers vouchers :
100 x winners stand a chance to win 1 of 100 Checkers vouchers to the value of R100.00 each.
Selecting Winners
Instant airtime :
The Prize will be delivered automatically in the to the handset of the winner via the mobile number that was used to enter the promotion.
Checkers vouchers :
100 x winners will be selected by random draw to win 1 of 100 x R100 Checkers vouchers. Random draw will take place on 9 December 2022.
Terms & Conditions
** The promotional competition is not open to any director, member, partner, employee, agent or consultant of the Promoter, the marketing service providers or any person who directly or indirectly controls or is controlled by these entities, including their spouses, life partners, business partners or immediate family members.
** Any participant under the age of 18 years must be fully assisted by his/her guardian, who approves of and consents to the participant’s participation in the competition and the participant’s receipt/possession of the prize.
** By participating in this competition participants agree to receive future marketing material from the brand/s on promotion.
However, the participant has the right to unsubscribe to receiving marketing material or request the promoter to delete their information by contacting the Promoter at 15 Nollsworth Crescent, Nollsworth Park, La Lucia, 4051 Att: Legal Department or opting out from any electronic marketing message.
