The University of South Africa (Unisa) is an open distance e-learning university which reaches into places where other institutions do not, making a difference to everyone.

Unisa offers a combination of career-orientated courses usually associated with a university of technology, combined with general formative academic programmes typically linked to a traditional university.

This university offers many certificates, degrees and diplomas at the bachelor, master and doctoral levels.

This gives you the option of studying for as long as you wish and within your own time frame.

Now you may be wondering what the fees would look like considering all the things they are offering, well at Unisa the study fees are generally lower than other higher education institutions.

The cost of your fees depends on the qualification you are studying towards, as well as the number of modules you choose to take.

The average student registers for between 4 and 6 modules per year at a cost of between *R1 665,00 and *R4 835,00 per module (*these amounts are subject to change).

The module costs do not include the prescribed books, these books are an additional cost that you must include in your calculations for your full costs of study.

Unisa provides students with a form which will determine their study fees quotation.
