Boitumelo went to Potchefsroom Girls high school. She proceeded to study Psychology and Criminology at Monas University but could not continue with her education due to financial constraints.

- 2010: She had her television debut on the second season of the e.tv drama series 4Play: Sex Tips for Girls.
- 2011: She co-hosted the SABC1 educational series, The Media Career Guide Show and also appeared as a guest judge on the second season of the SABC1 competition series Turn It Out: Street Battle.
- 2012: Boity co-hosted the SABC1 youth reality series Zoned.
- 2013: She landed her first acting role on television in June 2013. She started playing the role of Mpho Bogatsu on the Mzansi Magic drama series, Rockville.
- 2014: Boity starred with choreographer Somizi Mhlongo and musician Bongani Fassie in the second season of the e.tv docu-reality series Reality Check. In the same year, she replaced Nonhle Thema as co-host of the e.tv music show Club 808.
- 2016: She started playing the role of Charity on the SABC3 soapie High Rollers on 26 September 2016.
- 2017: Boity made her debut on e.tv soapie Rhythm City.
