How to Apply RCS Card

** With the RCS Card, you can shop within the largest independent shopping network in South Africa.

** There are over 21 000 stores across all categories, so you can shop for the brands you love.

What you need to get a RCS Card :

** You must be 18 years and older

** Hold a South African ID book or Drivers License

** Provide your latest 3 months’ bank statements or 3 months’ salary slips

** Be employed and earn R1,000 or more per month

** Complete a few fields and you’ll get a response within seconds. If you are provisionally approved, you move on to Step 2.

** Next, you complete the full application

** You can either do this online or in store. Please note that we will need to verify your income during the full application process.

** Collect your RCS Card and get shopping

** Once your application is complete and approved, all you need to do is take your SA ID and go to the nearest store to collect your card.

Terms & Conditions

** “Account” means the credit account created by us in respect of your credit facility whereby we record all transactions processed on your card, as well as any amounts debited or credited to your account;

** “Act” means the National Credit Act, No. 34 of 2005, together with its regulations, as amended from time to time;

** “Agreement” means the terms and conditions contained in this document, read with the pre-agreement quotation and statement and application form completed by you, and any amendments thereto;

** “Card” means the RCS branded plastic card issued by us to you in order for you to access the credit made available to you through your credit facility;

** “Consumer Protection Act” means the Consumer Protection Act, No. 68 of 2008, together with its regulations, as ammended from time to time;

** “Credit facility” means the store credit that we provide to you, and that you have applied for, so that you can make purchases in selected merchant stores or on merchant websites on credit;

** “Debit order” means (at our choice) a standard debit order or an early debit order whereby we instruct your bank to deduct an amount from your bank account and to pay that amount directly over to us on your behalf. The amount deducted will vary every month depending on your monthly instalment and may include any other amounts that may be due to us, from time to time;

** “Initiation fee” means a fee charged by us to you in order to create a credit facility for you;
