KFC Streetwise Value Box Airtime Giveaway

Promotion Period :

** The Promotion will begin at 00:01 on 10 January 2022 and will end at 23:59 on 27 February 2022 (“Promotion Period”).

** No Airtime or Vouchers (both as defined below) will be awarded after the Promotion Period.

Eligible participants

In order to be eligible for participation in this Promotion, the participant must :

** be 18 (eighteen) years of age or older or, if younger than 18 (eighteen) years, be assisted to the extent necessary by a parent or legal guardian;

** be a citizen or permanent resident of South Africa, residing in South Africa with a valid South African identity document or passport;

** be a mobile device owner having a valid subscription with either of Vodacom, MTN, Cell C or Telkom Mobile (collectively, “Subscription”); and

** must undertake to abide by these Rules,

** and each participant represents and warrants that by entering in or participating in this Promotion, he/she has full eligibility to do so.

** The Organisers reserve the right to request proof that participants have met these eligibility requirements.

How To Participate

** Eligible participants will be required to make a purchase any KFC Streetwise Value Box valued at R24.90 (twenty-four Rand ninety cents) or KFC Streetwise Value Box valued at R29.90 (twenty-nine Rand ninety cents), (each, a “KFC Meal”) on any day during the Promotion Period from any KFC Store in South Africa (“Purchase”).

** Upon completion of the Purchase, eligible participants will be issued with a receipt (till slip) displaying a unique USSD (Unstructured Supplementary Service Data) code (“USSD Code”).

Note that the Promotion applies to the following product codes, thus participants who wish to participate in the promotion must ensure that the KFC Meal relates to any one of the following product codes :

** ICM1136 Streetwise Value Box; and

** ICM 1137 Streetwise Value Box with Small Drink.

** Eligible participants must then send the 16 (sixteen) digit unique USSD Code on their mobile device and as follows: *120*532*UNIQUECODE#, and follow the on-screen prompts. Entry via USSD will be charged at 20c/20sec (twenty cents per twenty seconds), provided that the total cost of entry into the Competition will not exceed R1.50 (one Rand and fifty cents).

** Once connected to the USSD, eligible participants must answer a maximum of 5 (five) questions and in doing so, furnish personal information as requested in the USSD, such as gender, age group, and province of residence.

In relation to eligible participants with pre-paid mobile device Subscription :

** immediately upon furnishing the information as per clause 1.3 above and completion of the USSD session, the participant will receive confirmation at the end of the USSD session that the participant will receive airtime (relative to the network with which the USSD session was engaged) to the value of R5.00 (five Rand), which will be automatically loaded on their pre-paid Subscription within 24 (twenty-four) hours (“Airtime”); and

** for the avoidance of doubt, once the USSD session is engaged, the system will automatically detect the service provider to which the mobile device number is connected. A maximum of 1 (one) R5.00 (five Rand) voucher will be allocated to each Purchase of the KFC Meal with a maximum of R150.00 (one hundred and fifty Rand) per single entry.

** In relation to eligible participants with non-pre-paid mobile device Subscription, such participants, immediately upon furnishing the information as per clause 1.3 above, will receive a WiCode voucher for a small Soda Fountain drink to the value of R9,90 (nine Rand and ninety cents), which is redeemable at participating KFC stores nationwide, subject to availability (“Voucher”).

** The distribution of the above Airtime and Vouchers shall be facilitated by Yonder Media Proprietary Limited, Southdowns Office Park, Block C 2nd Floor, corner John Vorster Drive and Karee Street, Southdowns, Irene, Centurion.

** Participants who fail to redeem either the Airtime or Voucher as provided in clauses 1.1 to 1.3 above within 7 (seven) days of the Purchase, shall forfeit the Airtime or Voucher, as the case may be.

** Eligible participants are eligible to enter the Promotion a maximum of 4 (four) times per day and a maximum of 10 (ten) times per week.
