2022 TVET College Results Release Date – When Will Be Released

As the academic year draws to a close, many university and college students are anxiously awaiting their results. Here is when 2022 TVET College results will be released.

Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges are gearing up for the release of their 2022 academic year results. 

In a Parliamentary Committee meeting, held in November, the Committee and the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET) discussed the state of readiness for the 2023 academic year, along with various stakeholders.

Dates for the approval and eventual release of TVET students’ academic results for 2022 were also a point of discussion.

Umalusi (which develops and evaluates qualifications and curricula to ensure that they are of the expected standard, as well as moderates assessments to ensure fairness and reliability) plans on approving TVET College NC(V) qualifications by 13 January, 2023.

By 16 January, 2023, TVET students can expect an electronic release of NC(V) results by the DHET. 

National Certificate Vocational (NCV) is one of the high skills, high quality and high knowledge programmes that aims to provide students with experience in workplace environments and directly responds to the prioritizing of the skills demand in South Africa.

Engineering results are also planned to be assessed by Umalusi by 13 January; engineering students can also expect their results to be released on 16 January, 2023. 

Approval of results for Business Studies will be on 16 January 2023 and will be electronically released on 18 January, 2023. 

GETC: ABET L4 is an adult qualification registered at Level 1 of the NQF, and is comparable to Grade 9 or the old Standard 7. A person who has successfully passed all the GETC: ABET Level 4 subjects is similar to a person who has passed Grade 9 at school. 

GETC: ABET L4 results are expected to be assessed by Umalusi on 13 January, 2023.

Printing a statement of results for GETC: ABET L4 will be conducted through respective Provincial Education Departments (PEDs) that are supported by the DHET.

The PEDs will print the statements of results between 14 and 18 January, 2023, and will be released to candidates on 20 January 2023.
